Pooja Bedi backs Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan, says “justice system needs major overhaul”

Actor Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan was arrested by NCB in connection with an alleged drug case on October 3. Currently, the young star has been sent to Arthur Road Prison in Mumbai by the court. In the midst of this, Pooja Bedi has become the latest Bollywood celebrity to challenge the justice system while providing support for SRK’s family.

On Saturday night, Pooja Bedi took to Twitter to frankly express her views on the ongoing case. She asked why Aryan Khan was sent to jail when no drugs were found on him. According to her, it is appalling that an “innocent child” is locked behind bars far from his family. She also explained that this whole incident can be “psychologically damaging” for Aryan Khan.

Pooja Bedi further called for the Indian “judicial system” to be reorganized. She said the current situation apparently leads to “creating criminals” by punishing those who are “innocent”. Speaking to the microblogging site, she explained, “If no drugs were found on #AryanKhan, isn’t it appalling that an innocent child is forced to spend days and days in jail? ? It is psychologically damaging to be put in jail for no reason. The justice system needs a major overhaul… such systems create criminals by punishing innocent people. “

Shah Rukh Khan’s son has been arrested along with seven others, including Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha, after a drug seizure on Cordelia Cruise on the Mumbai coast. Initially, the star-kid was placed in the custody of the BCN, but later he was sent into judicial custody by the honorable court. His plea for bail was heard on Wednesday and Thursday. Post where the Mumbai court filed the star child bail application order. He is sent to Arthur Road Prison in Mumbai until October 20.

During Aryan’s bail plea hearing on Wednesday, superstar Salman Khan visited Shah Rukh Khan’s home to be with the family. In the recent past, Pooja Bhatt, Hrithik Roshan, Hansal Mehta, Sussanne Khan, Sonam Kapoor were among the few others to take a stand for SRK amid the controversy.
