Caucasian Knot | Kadyrov boasts that Chechen children are praying for the success of the SMO

All over Chechnya, children are praying for the participants of the special military operation (SMO) in Ukraine, who “defend the religion” in the Donbass, boasted Ramzan Kadyrov. He explained that his daughter is the initiator of such actions.

The “Caucasian Knot” reported that the leader of Chechnya also bragged about the participation of his three minor sons in the fighting in the SMO zone in Ukraine, and the fact that three prisoners of war (POW) were taken to Grozny at the request of his children. The Chechen state television channel published a report in which Kadyrov’s sons were shown in a trench; however, social media commentators doubted the report was filmed during a battle on the front line. Their doubts were confirmed by blogger, Tumso Abdurakhmanov, who pointed to signs of editing in the video report.

Throughout Chechnya, with the active participation of children, prayers are said for the participants of the SMO, who defend the religion “from the encroachments of the henchmen of the accursed Iblis (the leader of the demons (shaitans) in Islam) in the Donbass,” Kadyrov said on his Telegram channel. According to his story, “Muslims of different ages” participate in collective prayers, including “the youngest residents”.

In the video posted on Ramzan Kadyrov’s Telegram channel, several dozen girls are dressed in hijabs in the colors of the Russian flag.

The Chechnya leader noted that his daughter, Khadizhat Kadyrova, head of the preschool education department at Grozny City Hall, “has been initiating activities with the participation of children in support of the SMO for several months now.”

The “Caucasian Knot” reported that on March 25, 2022, Kadyrov informed mass prayers in support of SMO fighters. The parishioners are obliged to participate in these prayers, suggested the author of the blog “Chechnya Inside” which he animates on the “Caucasian Knot”; and social network users confirmed in their comments that in Chechnya, civil servants, who receive their salaries from the state budget, are grouped together in mosques under threat of dismissal.
