2023: Tinubu’s alleged schoolmate speaks out on his school certificate

Femi Aribisala, the alleged classmate of All Progressives Congressional presidential candidate Bola Tinubu has said that the affidavit of the former Governor of Lagos’s certificate is false.

Naija News reported earlier Tinubu claimed that his school certificates were stolen by unknown persons during the military regime in 1990.

The former Governor of Lagos State said as much in an affidavit submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as part of his eligibility records for the 2023 presidential elections.

According to Peoples Gazette, documents released on Friday show Tinubu left his primary and secondary education columns unmarked.

Tinubu, however, noted that he earned a degree in business and administration in 1979 from Chicago State University.

However, Femi, a classmate of the former governor in a post shared on the microblogging platform Twitter, said he was at Government College Ibadan and the APC presidential candidate was not there. .

He added that Tinubu telling the Independent National Electoral Commission that he did not go to primary or secondary school means he has committed perjury.

He wrote: I wrote in 2014 that Tinubu’s affidavit that he attended Government College Ibadan (GCI) between 1965 and 1968 is false. I was at the GCI from 1962 to 1968, and Tinubu was not there. Tinubu now tells INEC that he did not go to primary or secondary school. It means he committed perjury.
